FamFarouche’s paintings explore the interplay of pattern and color. Rather than committing to a single stylistic direction, the artist allows intuition and process to lead the work—embracing change, chance, and the logic that emerges while painting.

Observations of urban structures play a central role: surfaces, rhythms, repetitions, and fragments encountered in everyday city life become starting points for the compositions. Drawing from the artist’s immediate surroundings, the works translate the visual language of the street into layered, dynamic paintings that reflect a lived environment.

At times, the artist incorporates figurative elements—often informed by emotion and approached through abstraction—so that recognizable forms appear and dissolve within the composition, expanding the work’s psychological and narrative resonance.
